About the Mosman Montessori Under 3's
The Mosman Montessori Under 3's was established as an incorporated association by a group of dedicated parents in July 2006. As a non-profit parent run incorporation, members are committed to providing environments and a program of experiences that:
- develop in each child a positive attitude towards education
- help each child develop self confidence as an independent learner
- assist each child in building a habit of concentration
- develop habits of initiative and persistence
- help each child develop their sensory-motor skills; and
- sharpen their ability to discriminate and judge.
Parent involvement is critical to the success of the program. This may be achieved by either taking a position on the Parent Committee (see Getting Involved) or through planning and volunteering at various events.
One of the many benefits of parent involvement is that parents can increase their knowledge about the program and become acquainted with other parents, and as a result incorporate more of the program into their everyday lives.
Without parent involvement and support, this wonderful program would cease to exist. Get involved now!
