If I wish to attend a Montessori Pre-School do I need to attend Under 3’s?
Enrolment in Under 3's is not a prerequisite for entry to a 3-6 Montessori program, nor does it guarantee a place for your child on any school's waiting list for 3-6. A place within a Montessori 3-6 program is highly competitive and waitlists can be long. As such, if you are interested in enroling your child in a Montessori 3-6 program, it is best to place your child on the waitlist when they are between 12-18 months of age.
Is a Montessori program more suitable for one sex in particular?
The Montessori approach is equally beneficial for both girls and boys because one of its primary aims is to assist the development of independence, which is a desirable attribute for any individual.
