Getting involved

It is widely known that parents who are active in their community and in their children's activities are rewarded with children who grow into individuals who are socially aware, responsible and community minded. As a parent-run organisation, Mosman Montessori Under 3's, provides parents a wonderful opportunity to be linked into the administration of the program. We have a variety of roles from volunteering to be on the Executive Committee, right through to assisting in fundraising.

Our parent-run Executive Committee supports the Directress in the day-to-day management of the program while also taking a long-range view regarding the strategy, financial health and governance of the program. Key roles include: President; Vice President; Treasurer; Secretary; and Enrolments Officer.

Each session also has a Parent Liaison volunteer, who is responsible for being the contact and support person for each group. For example, the Parent Liaison will collect fundraising forms from all parents within their session and provide them to the Fundraising Officer.
Some of these roles are currently filled, however positions become vacant on an ongoing basis as children graduate from program. The current Executive Committee and the vacant positions are listed below.
